Fly Compton Couture S.T.E.A.M. Fashion Engineering Camp Interest Form

We are handpicking a small cohort of 10 visionary innovators to test out our S.T.E.A.M. Summer experience, where cutting-edge fashion design intersects with aerospace in a transformative experience unlike anything else. This opportunity brings together the most creative, Next Gen minds, getting them involved in pioneering the future of wearable technology.

About the Camp:

At Fly Compton's Couture S.T.E.A.M. Fashion Engineering Camp, creativity takes flight—literally. This isn’t your average sewing circle. This is a full-throttle runway-to-runway (catwalk to cockpit) experience where bold design meets real-world aerospace challenges.

Over five unforgettable days, 10 student designers will dream, sketch, build, and tech-out their very own custom, “high-fashion” inspired aviator/spacesuit—complete with wearable technology that tracks and responds to movement and biometric data, helping to illuminate and solve real problems faced by pilots and astronauts. Think motion-reactive lights, embedded sensors, GPS trackers, and high-performance fabrics that look fierce and work smart.

Guided by expert mentors from the worlds of fashion, aerospace, and engineering, students will:

· Explore the history and future of flightwear and space suits

· Experiment with futuristic materials and functional design

· Use Fit, Form, and Function to prototype solutions for real aerospace environments

· Turn their ideas into reality using sewing machines, high performance fabrics, 3D printing tools, coding tools, sensors, LED lights, and microcontrollers

And of course, we keep it stylish:

Students will storyboard, design, and debut their creations on the runway in a high-energy, fashion-meets-function showcase for family, friends, and community partners.

Every student will leave with:

· A custom tech’d out flight suit or fashion piece, built with purpose and dripping with style

· A Fly Compton Couture swag bag packed with creative gear, logo patches, and exclusive merch

· Professional project photos, a digital portfolio, and a certificate of completion

· A new understanding of how their ideas can fly—and maybe even change the world

Eligibility: Students ages 11–18 with an interest in S.T.E.A.M., aerospace, fashion, or design.

Camp Payment Information

Camp Fee: $500 per student
